The combination of the PHEV powertrain and electric motor provides the Jeep 4xe models with instant torque, thrilling acceleration, and maximum horsepower right out of the gate. With the electric power being used initially, this is the default mode.
This option focuses on using the 2.0L DOHC DI Turbo I4 engine, allowing you to save up your battery charge for later, and will shut the engine off when there is a small demand for power. With the correct configuration, you can also charge the battery in eSave Mode.
