Non-TRX Ram 1500 models come with two engine choices: a 5.7L HEMI V8 rated at 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque or a 3.6L V6 rated at 305 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Ram adds eTorque to the 3.6L V6 engine so that you’ve got great efficiency in addition to great power. While the TRX is viewed as a different variant than the regular 1500 lineup, it’s still part of the Ram 1500 family. With a TRX, you get a supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 engine rated at 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.
